Dry weather will continue over southwest washington and northwest oregon for the next couple of days as an upper level ridge remains over the pacific northwest. A strong low centered off the coast early this morning was moving north along 135w and will stay offshore today except for a few clouds near the coast. The next system out near 150w will approach the coast monday night and try to move onshore tuesday and wednesday...but is likely to split apart with the chances of any precipitation rather small in our forecast area. The upper ridge redevelops late in the week for mostly dry weather again. The models diverge for next weekend but there may be a chance of precipitation at that point. ...
